- Microsoft doesn't have a "not invented here" philosophy; they can't
- possibly. They haven't invented anything themselves since Allen and Gates
- wrote the code for the first version of BASIC.

- Both features you mention are coming. OpenDOC ideas will be stolen and
- improved upon by Microsoft and included in Cairo as OLE 3.0 . What
- Microsoft's SOM will be called, I don't know yet.
