  24. Microsoft doesn't have a "not invented here" philosophy; they can't 
  25. possibly. They haven't invented anything themselves since Allen and Gates 
  26. wrote the code for the first version of BASIC.

  28. Both features you mention are coming. OpenDOC ideas will be stolen and 
  29. improved upon by Microsoft and included in Cairo as OLE 3.0 . What 
  30. Microsoft's SOM will be called, I don't know yet.
